5Flawless and Easy to Connect. Fancy duralumin casing matches premium Mac build at a quarter of the cost
    By Mr. Sky
We often forget how much faster the internet is when connected directly to the ethernet cable. Yes, router have come a long way, but there is absolutely no lag and hesitation or hiccups with a direct ethernet connection. My Apple TV, for instance, is connected directly to the wired network so that the streaming is fluid and fast. Also, even though a lot of people think that ethernet is a thing of the past, they forget that in a lot of places in the world, wireless is still a luxury. On a recent trip to Mexico, I was stuck without internet simply because my laptop, a Mac, did not have ethernet port. There are times, however, that even in places with wireless, say the schools where I work, the WiFi fails or in case of streaming YouTube in schools, the wireless is too slow or congested. That's when connecting directly to 'the wall' via ethernet really pays off.

Over the years, I have found Aukey connectors reliable, unlike the under-five-dollar adapters that I have purchased from eBay. Here's another link to a product I own and would recommend:

Writing detailed reviews is fun and challenging. Even when these products are offered at a low or no cost--such as in the case of this particular item--I am equally very serious at providing the most accurate and unbiased feedback so that all of us, the Amazon consumers, can have the highest possible confidence when buying a product and the best possible experience when using it. Thank you very much for the 'Yes' helpful vote, and please feel free to comment and/or ask question relate to this product or other items I have reviewed on Amazon. It is important to NOTE that I am a long term very satisfied Amazon Prime member :)

Worked for a month and a half. I got a system message yesterday saying USB device failed, and hasn't worked since. It's still lit green when plugged into the USB C, but there's no network connection.
