The LED set (2 or 4 kit) will flash on and off slowly by default. After a few minutes, the LEDs are not flashing in sync any longer, so you get 4 independent patterns. The only thing to do is install Corsail Link software and you can set the intensity and force your whole bank to stay solid (no pulse). The problem with corsair link is that it interferes with your motherboard's fan control software. All of this is a bit of pain.

Good memory but BAD design and flawed features
By Daniel C Woods
So the positive notes are that it functions as it should, and it's top of the line memory, we all know that Corsair makes great RAM. The dissatisfaction comes with the design of the heat spreaders and functionality of the LEDs. First off, it's not advertised anywhere that they blink or breath and there's no way to change that... So be warned, they breath, and out of sync. They get on a pattern all on their own and there's no input for LINK or any way to turn it off, refresh the cycle or change the pattern. Also, it's not true white, it's that infamous light blue LED white. Finally, not all of the heat spreader LEDs worked for me. Two out of four sticks would just intermittently come on and turn off for extended periods of time which for highly priced memory shouldn't happen. Seems that there is some QC issues here. I returned mine and went with a CAS 14 3200Mhz TridentX 32GB quad-channel kit (faster than 3466mhz with the CAS timing) , which I would highly recommend over this set.

I'm using 2 kits for a total of 64GB on 24/7 in my **Gigabyte GA-x99-Ultra Gaming Mobo**
I didn't buy from Amazon, I'd originally ordered the red led kit in error, but had a chance to test one of those 32GB kits as well fr about a week, and it worked flawlessly as well.
I have not tried overclocking them yet, but not looking for much headroom on a kit already clocked at 3400Mhz with XMP enabled.
A fresh install of Windows 10 Pro, recognizes all 64GB without issue from initial boot.
* Definitely Recommend
* Would purchase again
** I will keep an eye on them for the next few months, and update my review accordingly once I start overclocking
